| We chose Linzi's of Leamington as she has been recommended to us from a number of wedding venues in the area. What a great find, so happy that we went with Linzi, she met us before hand to go through colour schemes and the style of wedding. I really appreciated Linzi's attention to detail to ensure that the cake would perfectly tie in with the wedding. The cake was just perfect. A number of guests asked about the cake following the wedding as it tasted as good as it looked. Thank you for all of your help Linzi you were a pleasure to work with :) |

| Not what we paid for.......... |  |
| We had arranged to have our wedding cake made by Linzi to be in a tree log style with 3 different flavour tiers. We met with linzi and gave her pictures and our invite to tie in with what we want. A key point being that our initials were on the centre tier in a heart as per our invite and mimic what you would carve in to a tree. Unfortunately what we got was a three tiered plain white iced cake with the flavours of tiers not as we had requested and just some brown lines pipped around the cake and not even an & put between our 2 initials, so just looked odd. If it wasn't for paying our florist to add flowers to the cake I probably would have asked the venue to take it out the back it looked that bad. As you can imagine when you pay a lot of money to who you thought was a professional for a wedding cake and get something that looks rushed and half hearted and think I could have done a better job myself is not what you want. I therefore contacted linzi multiple times via email and even rang and left a voicemail airing my disappointment and asked for a return of some of the moneys paid. She however has chosen to just ignore me. This will now be in my pictures forever and am gutted I picked Linzi to do my cake, I am also so disappointed that she took all that money from us, made something that looked slapped together and has chosen to not do the right thing and respond to my communication or refund some of the money. I would never use or recommend her to anyone for their most important day of their lives. |

I couldn't recommend Linzi more highly if you are looking for a wedding cake company.
She is friendly, always contactable, and very accommodating if your looking to meet up/sample recipes etc.
Our cake was amazing, and looked beautifully dressed on the day of the wedding. 3 months later and having been defrosted it still tastes better than any sponge cake we have had in our lives! Everyone at our wedding complimented us on what an impressive and tasty cake it was! |
