Hitched.com actually send reviews to suppliers to check before they are posted. So that's why no negative reviews get through. It completely undermines the point. My advice is use it to source suppliers, but always try and meet or speak to them in person, ask lots of questions and follow your gut. The reviews on hitched are nonsense.
Alternatively, if you have a reasonably busy big supplier to the area with only one 5* review or none at all...it probably means they are editing out a lot of bad reviews! |

I used Hitched alot while I was planning my wedding and found it really useful but now my wedding is over and I am trying to write a half negative review of one of my suppliers it has never gone live even after submitting it twice!!! every review they have on their site is 5 hearts this to me doesn't seem realistic (would be lovely to live in a world where everything is perfect).
For honest reviews I guess weddingsuncovered is better and can help towards planning |

I had problems with one of my suppliers and wrote a review on Hitched twice but never got published.
This made me nervous when reading the reviews to make some decisions for my other suppliers but I did go with one of the suggestions as the reviews seemed great and so many and on calling the lady she was very polite and friendly and the quote was competative.
So overall a great site with lots of information to help you plan but when it comes down to complaining I guess they don't want to get involved but thats what reviews are suppose to be about so glad I found this site to share my real views!!! |

on looking for a venue for my wedding next year I noticed this site only had positive reviews and thought can people only have good things to say about every review in bucks/Berks area and after reading the review on here from Anne-Marie I can honestly say we need honest reviews not just all the good bits!!!!!
So Hitched has great info but not sure how true it all is but worth looking at to get the ideas |

They only show good reviews!!!
I tried to put my review on here and because it was quite negative it never got put live so glad I found this site to share my experiences negative or positive!!!
Otherwise hitched have some great ideas and advice so worth a look around the site |
