| Highly Recommended for Beautiful Flowers |  | | Caroline was amazing from start to finish. From entering her lovely office to seeing the flowers on the day, the whole process was made so easy by her efficiency, friendliness and obvious love of her job. Our flowers were absolutely stunning and even more than I could have wished for. The feedback from everyone on the day was brilliant and even another supplier said they were the very best flowers they had seen at the venue in all their time there. Thank you Caroline and I would be pleased to recommend anyone to use The Orchid Room for their special day. Amazing lady! | | Weddings are difficult things to get right. You hear horror stories of wedding suppliers running off with your money, misleading you, and not doing what you pay for. We had no idea about flowers and originally searched for florists going by what adverts we could see and who were at wedding fairs. After quite a few disheartening and horrifically priced quotes not including what we'd asked for I found Caroline in a wedding magazine. The flowers were stunning and I immediately emailed Caroline and we travelled an hour to see her.
From the minute my husband and I met Caroline I knew she was our lady. She was down to earth, funny, caring, and made us feel we were in great hands. She listened to what we had imagined our flowers to be and took her time showing us various flowers and seeing what we liked. Her studio was beautiful and decked out in amazing displays. She gave us an amazing quote and we booked her the next day.... well over 18 months before our wedding! She gave us an amazing price for three bouquets, 2 corsages, 5 button holes, 1 table display, 8 giant table displays, 2 thank you bouquets, and other room decorations for us.
We met nearer to the wedding to finalise flowers. My mum also came with us. She found Caroline a wonderful lady and she felt more like an old friend rather than someone we were just paying for a service.
When our big day arrived and I saw my bouquet I couldn't do anything but get up and give her a hug. The flowers were stunning and made the venue look out of this world. We had so many guests comment on the flowers including the staff at the venue and the registrar.
We know that without The Orchid Room that our wedding day would not have been as colourful, romantic, and special.
Anyone who is unsure about booking a florist and wants someone who really cares about them and the flowers should meet Caroline. They were exactly what I wanted. I was given lots of advice of what was best for my budget. You interpreted her wishes and took on board her personality, ideas, colour scheme and vision to the full.
Everyone said how wonderful the flowers were and even those who see the photographs.
As my daughter does not know a flower from a weed I was blown away when I saw how the venue and tables were decorated;Wonderful. Thank you so much you are extremely talented. | | Christine Glover - 28/08/2013 | | | FANTASTIC FABULOUS FLORIST :) | | | The Orchid Room was the first florist we looked at and as soon as we met Caroline for a chat in her beautiful barn we knew we wanted her to do our flowers. Other than a colour scheme and some very loose ideas we didn't really know what we wanted for our flowers - we can't even keep a hanging basket alive! Caroline was so helpful and asked lots of questions and showed us pictures to get an idea of what we would like. In no time at all she had come up with the perfect design for us and, although we still didn't really know exactly what they would look like, we completely trusted her to make them perfect. We also asked Caroline to decorate our tables and chose the beautiful bird cages and vintage Martini glasses which she had on display (although all of her decorations are lovely, we could have chosen any of them!). We went away feeling relieved and 100% confident that Caroline would put every effort into making it all perfect for us. From then until the wedding Caroline was so helpful whenever we needed to ask any questions and was never too busy to talk to us. On the day of the wedding, when I arrived at the hotel where I was getting ready, Caroline was waiting for me to deliver mine and my bridesmaids bouquets, my mums corsage and my dads button hole. She had already set up the venue for us and delivered the rest of the guests flowers there. My bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen, with so many flowers in beautiful colours and gorgeous pearls scattered throughout, and I just could not wait to get to the venue to see everything else! I wasn't disappointed - everything looked amazing! The top table arrangement was stunning and the vines which hung around the marquee poles looked gorgeous too! So many of our guests commented about how beautiful the flowers were and have asked for Carolines details for people they know who are getting married. The table decorations were vintage and elegant and were even better than we had imagined with more lovely flowers decorating them. Another big hit was the sweety cart which Caroline had given us - it fitted in perfectly with our theme and it was so popular with our guests that we hardly got a look in! All in all, Caroline is a FANTASTIC florist who works extremely hard with her designs and puts every effort into making the flowers and decorations perfect for you. All of her hard work helped to make our day the most amazing day we have ever had and we would definitely recommend that if you live in Essex you choose her, you won't be disappointed! | | Nicola Pniok - 28/08/2013 | | | You made my day | | | I just want to say a Hugh big thank you to The Orchid Room for making my dreams come true, I had already booked a florist for my wedding, but didn''t feel confident that they would re create the flowers I had wanted. A friend used The Orchid Room for her wedding flowers and they were amazing, so gave them a call, I was very impressed how Caroline chatted to me on the phone, and came up with lots of ideas before I had even met her. We had an appointment to visit her fabulous studio, and as soon as I walked in, I knew I wanted her to do my flowers, after several cups of coffee and scummy cup cakes, I had decided ( with lots of help!!) on my flowers for my wedding, on the big day it''s self, Caroline was very punctual, and efficient. Set up the venue for us. The flowers took my breathe away, so beautiful. I could never of imagined how wonderful they were, the price was slightly more expensive than other quotes I had had, but with hind site, definately worth every penny.
