| Exceptional transformation |  |
| I was so pleased with Sam's transformation of me on my wedding day last year. I felt as every bride should - glamorous and radiant. I was 49 so it took some work, but the comments I had and am still having since, make me feel warm and happy. The trial is essential, but even on the day I decided I wanted something slightly different and Sam worked her magic. To be equally skilled at working with make-up and hair is brilliant. Sam worked wonders with me, my 18 year old bridesmaid and my 82 year old mum. All very happy. Thank you Sam. |

| A true artist! | |
Sam did a wonderful job on my wedding hair. She was full of enthusiasm, ideas and was a real joy to have around - for the trial and on the wedding day itself.
Sam is a true artist, she is exacting in her attention to detail and relentless in delivering the best possible outcome to her customers. I would never have imagined that my hair could look as spectacular as it did!

| A massive thank you to Sam for doing my hair and make up for my wedding day at such late notice too. The trial Sam tried a few different hair styles and listened to everything that I wanted. On the day Sam turned up nice and early and made me feel so relaxed. All my bridesmaids had there hairs done and looked stunning. Absolutely loved my hair and make up, never felt so confident and beautiful. Will be recommending to future bride to be's. Thank you so much |

| Working with Sam was a pleasure. She did a great job on my wedding day and her work was amazing. What i think is special about Sam is the amount of effort she puts in the research and testing. She advised me on various styles of make-up and hair suitable for my skin and hair type. She is a professional with great communication skills and lot of experience. She was a calming presence on the day which i am grateful for. I wholeheartedly recommend her, she is great! |

Sam played a big part in making our wedding extra special. From the trial to the morning of the wedding, Sam was great to work with and helped to make the preparations fun and relaxed. I was thrilled with my bridal hair and makeup and my Mum and bridesmaids all looked stunning as well.
Thoroughly recommend!

I am very grateful to Sam Norman for making my wedding day so special!!!
She did such a great, great job and created a dream hairstyle. In the meantime she is such a pleasant, kind and calm person that with her I felt very positive and didn't feel nervous after my trial ( at least about my hair on my wedding day).
She is very professional, flexible and does want to make you feeling happy about the result. On my trial Sam spent such a long time with me and we've tried five different hairstyles and I should say I loved all of them.
Before I found Sam I did loads of research and when I saw photos from her photo gallery I loved her style the best and realised that I found what I needed.
Sam did outstanding job for me. Also my hair was fixed very well and even I danced so much it still looked beautiful by the end of the day.
I received numerous complements from my husband and our guests on my hair on my wedding day. Everybody asked who did my hair and I recommended Sam to everyone for their occasions.
P.S Sam also did my mom's hair and she looked gorgeous!

| Perfect wedding, perfect make-up | |
| Sam spent a lot of time on my trial and I felt that she cared about what I wanted. She even offered a free follow up (which I decided wasn't necessary). On my wedding day, Sam turned up exactly on time and - as I had expected from he trial - was very calm and professional. Sam asked if I wanted my make-up done differently from the trial and when I mentioned that there were 3 things I wanted to change, she was happy to oblige and made the changes perfectly - exactly what I wanted. On the day I looked like more enhanced version of myself and not like a stranger, which is exactly what I wanted. Sam got this balance right and even did a touch up for me when I was having photos done on her way out. Sam also did my mother's make up and she was pleased with hers, which is high praise indeed (she is not easily pleased!). |

| Last minute let down |  |
I received an e mail(!) from Sam 48 hours before my wedding cancelling my booking due to a media job which had come up. I had booked and paid for the date weeks earlier. When I should have been enjoying time with family who had arrived from overseas and relaxing/looking forward to the day I had this hugely stressful development to deal with. Sam found somebody else to cover the day. It really was so last minute that I had no choice but to accept them. I was unable to meet them or explain the vibe of my day as you would in the course of completing a trial (which obviously I had with Sam). On my wedding day the look from the trial was not recreated. My hair and make-up was also finished 40 minutes later than planned so I had no time to ask for any changes and was still left with only 25 minutes to get dressed etc - this highlights how imperative the trial is. In the end it was not worth getting upset/annoyed about - I got on an enjoyed my day and it was wonderful - but something was definitely taken away due to the stress this placed on the build-up, not having a relaxing wedding morning and not having the look that I had planned for. If I'd had slightly more notice I could perhaps have sorted something out. 48 hours was unacceptably late for anything but a real emergency (I do not consider a media job an emergency). My experience of Sam during the trial was excellent but I cannot recommend her while her priority is not to honour commitments made to REAL people. Every girl should be special for her special day. Even more special Sam than Coca-Cola.
I am now posting this review to Weddings Uncovered. I originally submitted to Hitched which was how I found Sam but the only reviews actually published there are ones which are signed off by the supplier. So needless to say the only ones you'll find are 5* and gushing. |
