| I ordered my wedding dress 31/12/11 and was told i would get my 1st fitting 4-5 weeks before my wedding date. After a lot of phone calls to the shop and head office i finally got my 1st fitting 3.5 wks before wedding date. When i tried on the dress i was in tears and it didnt fit, this was definately not my dress that i ordered as i even ordered a bigger size so that i could get it altered. I had been on a diet and lost a dress size in my ordinary clothes. The shop and head office was very rude and just said thats the dress you ordered you have obviously put weight on. I really dont think a customer should be spoke to like this. I could not change the dress or get a refund, i have ended up out of pocket because i had to go and purchase a brand new dress of the peg in a different shop. I would definately not recomment Berketex Brides they are appauling. |

recently purchase my wedding dress from Berketex Bride in the Arndale. I was pleasently supprised at the choice of dresses and the friendly atmosphere and advise given by the sales consultant. Even though the shop is very warm and I did get quite hot trying on the dresses, I had a really good time and choose a beautiful dress which made my mum and me cry !!! I even ended up with a veil and tiara which I thought would never happen.
Definetely going back with my bridesmaids in a few months to get their dresses, I can put my wedding dress on again and get a good idea of how we will look on the wedding day - can't wait !!!! |

The staff at this shop where so helpful and friendly.
They provided me with amazing service and I couldn't have asked for anything more.
The dress was amazing and after all my fittings, fitted like it was made for me. |
