| Massive heartache |   | | Picked a dress with Helena, paid deposit (£600) Left in her "capable hands", go back 6months later for a dress fitting.. She only went and ordered completely the wrong dress!! No time left to re order, broken hearted and left with no options I had to buy her sample (a size smaller then I'd ordered) which she assured me would be dry cleaned, fixed up etc.. (Didn't even offer a discount till I asked) anyway go back to collect dress 3 weeks before wedding and not been cleaned nor fixed, she didn't even tell me she hadn't done it I had to find that out for myself.. Her excuse after I spiller my heart out to her "thought you was using my seamstress" I still have the text saying I had to find a seamstress or she could recommend a couple!! So left 3 weeks till wedding with a unclean tatty wedding dress which I had to get cleaned and fixed... I felt at this point I needed to tell her how she ruined my wedding experience how I had dreaded the wedding approaching, how I couldn't sleep or get excited, and her reply is let me get it cleaned (this is what she promised in the first place) I feel she has profited from my heart ache and that's all she cared about!! I ordered a brand new dress and walked out with a broken heart and the worst wedding experience ever.... I would certainly reconsider going here if you are actually excited to get married, me and my partner waited 19 years for this and this is what she done, massive error and no responsibility taken please please please be wary and don't make the same mistake as me!! She asked to see a pic of the wedding dress then asked who the designer was. When I gave her the details of it provided by another bridal shop she accused them of being liars. She then turned to her colleague and said "This is the dress that so and so and so and so wore" making me feel as unspecial as she could. We moved on to the bridesmaid dresses. They were rude to us over how much time we had to order, provided little help, took the chair away so I could not sit down and failed to offer drinks. We couldn't have been made to feel more unwelcome if she had tried. Even if I had found my dream dress, I would NEVER have purchased from them. They give bridal shops a bad name. Made to feel special...more like made to feel like just another pain in the ass customer. | | Louise Lambert - 04/11/2014 | | | Really Impressed | | Today we got a stunning dress for my daughter's wedding from Tiara & Tails. Helena was a complete professional, making appropriate suggestions and coping with a over excited four year old bridesmaid whilst making us drinks and letting my daughter take the time she needed to make up her mind, despite a visit from grumpy people who were looking for Sew-Ing but couldn't read the sign on the door!
