After a disappointing experience at confetti and lace in lakeside I took my bridesmaids to special occasions to try and find their bridesmaid dresses and to make it a special princess day.
When we walked in we was greeted by three happy ladies who couldn't do enough for us. They started with the colour s gene and told the bridesmaids which styles came in that colour. The girls was forever in and out of the changing rooms trying on different styles! They was having a ball!!!
My flower girl was amazed at the amount of choice she had of dresses (unlike confetti and lace who had 1 dress) she tried on about 8 different dresses before deciding on the dress she loved!
One of my bridesmaids thought about adding some sparkle to the dress, the ladies in the shop took this on board and came back with a sparkle belt which my bridesmaid loved!
All 4 girls found their dress and had massive smiles on their faces they couldn't stop looking at themselves in the mirror!!
The dresses were very good quality and they had a huge selection of styles. The ladies in the shop listened to what we liked and didn't like and offered ideas and was extremely helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone!
After my experience at confetti and lace I was disheartened and feeling negative! However once I entered special occasions I was positive and left smiling and happy that the bridesmaids had found their special dress for my special day!! So a massive Thankyou to special occasions you saved our day!! |

I really couldn't fault anything from Special Occasions Bridal. I found other dress shops snobby with unhelpful assistants who only want your money.
Special Occasions take the time to help you choose a dress but don't force you to buy straight away, they suggest trying other shops then come back if you like.
I went back a few weeks later and ordered my wedding dress and 7 bridesmaid dresses.
When they arrived in the shop I went with my bridesmaids so we could all try out dresses on together, I was over the moon with them all and the colour was such a perfect shade of tiffany blue. thank you special occasions for doing such a great job. |

| Visited this shop a few weeks so and to be honest it wasnt that great., dresses was average nothing mind blowing you walk in and you have to walk about yourself no help or advice , didn't really make you feel special at all |

| Do not use if you want your bridal dresses the same colour | |
We ordered 3 bridal dresses from this shop at £110 each, 2 of which came back with the right colour sash and one a different colour sash. 2 ivory and 1 light ivory, is this really good enough for you wedding day when photos are going to be taken of the bridemaids together. When pointed out to the shop they said there is nothing they can do and to be honest its only a slight difference. Is this good service to you? Please do not use them, pay the extra £40 and get the brand name dresses from a well know bridal shop rather then these cheap ones made in china.
Once they had the money they didnt want to help. Not to mention we had to wait two weeks for the manager to get back from holiday to look at the colour difference because no-one else who worked in the shop was allowed.
Do not use!! Your wedding is a special day and you want everything to be right. |

| Lovely friendly shop with great choices | |
| I had a bad experience when buying my wedding dress at Confetti & Lace so looked here for my bridesmaid dress. The shop is smallish but has loads of dresses in there by a huge variety of designers. You can then look at teh colour swaters and oder in practically every colour possible. My brideasmaid was 15 and a little nervous but they made her feel at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Great service. |

| Brilliant and good prices | |
This shop may not be one of the glamorous boutiques but it is THE best shop I have visited and we have been to about 5.
They have the biggest range of dresses in Essex stocking many designers and they have the best prices as well. The dress purchased was at £649 from here and was quoted over £1000 in every other store.
The ladies are lovely, really helful and friendly. They give honest opinions and do not pressure you to buy.
You don't need an appointment and they let you browse and take your time.
There is plenty of room to bring a troop of people and they have an excellent range of bridesmaid gowns too.
They stock Rainbow club shoes and jewellery, tiaras, wraps, bags.
They are the best shop ever! |
