The girls were really knowledgeable about what would suit me, the dress I ended up buying was picked out by one of the assistants as it wasn't something I would have normally gone for. They were really patient with me making sure it was the right dress- I was able to wear it around the shop for about 20 minutes as I didn't want to take it off! |

I bought my wedding dress for February 2016 from Ellie Sanderson in August 2015.
I went in with a bridesmaid and a family friend and was greeted with bubbly.
They were all very attentive but at the same time gave us time to look through the dresses by ourselves before settling on a couple of ideas.
I had been to one other dress shop that day so I was closer to an idea of what I was after.
I had originally gone into the shop with 'under no circumstances will I have a strapless dress' being repeated by me. However, after discussing with the girls in the shop, I agreed to try on a strapless dress. It fitted very well and we all had a 'oooh' moment. One of the girls suggested putting a lace bolero with it and that completely sold it to us. My bridesmaid, family friend and I were in tears!
I really appreciated the advice the girls gave. They are clearly very knowledgeable about what suits each bride. I loved the fact that going in each time for my fittings, they remembered all the details I had told them about my wedding and honeymoon plans.
The dress fitted perfectly on the day and at no point during it did I feel uncomfortable. It was also lovely to have the option of being able to take the bolero off for the 'evening party' look!

I visited the Ellie Sanderson store in Oxford for a designer event they were having, though actually ended up with something completely different - the most amazing Claire Pettibone dress. Ellie and Andrea helped me in the process of selecting the dress and not only have the patience of saints but also offer really honest and great advice on what looks good especially as being a little older and it being my second time around I did not want a really traditional wedding dress. The service they offer is really personal and outstanding and they made me feel very special every time I went in for my fittings.
I felt so amazing on my wedding day – there was a gasp when I walked in the room and all day I had so many comments on my dress - a dress I would never have found had it not been for Andrea in particular.
Of all the planning elements in the run up to my wedding it was my trips to Ellie Sanderson that I enjoyed the most – they made it an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
There are only two downsides – firstly I will not get to wear the dress again and secondly I secondly I am already missing n!!
I would thoroughly recommend being an Ellie Sanderson bride!!

| The first time I went to Ellie Sanderson the staff, Andrea and Allison were very welcoming and made me feel like how a bride should. Allison chose a dress for me I never thought I would go for and now it's my wedding dress. They were so friendly they didn't have any issue with me coming back to show my sister. I then went to the wedding show to see my dress again and Lauren helped who was also friendly and down to earth. I then met the beautiful lady herself Ellie and she is really a gem, came and introduced herself and congratulated me. You can tell she loves why she does and makes sure her girls do to. Definitely would recommend them and can't wait for the journey for my wedding dress. Thank you Ellie and the girls |

| Happy, but then disappointed later | |
| I loved my Sassi Holford dress when I tried the sample. I was measured up, had my size chosen for me, and was assured that it would be perfect when it arrived in my size (4 sizes smaller than the sample size). Unfortunately the fit was not at all right when my dress arrived in the shop. The sleeves cut into me and the bust was too high under my arms. The seamstress didn't fix the sleeves, although I paid a lot of money for it to be fixed! Also, I was pressured into getting bust cups, which make me look way too big in the boobs. I'm taking it to another tailor, and hopefully they can fix it. Feeling quite sad, and out of pocket :( The staff are really lovely so I'm not sure what went wrong :( |

| Ellie, Jenna and all the ladies ensured I had the most wonderful experience finding my dress. From the bubbles on arrival to the tissues provided when we found 'the one'; they were knowledgeable, professional and a credit to the designers they stock. I was eventually quite particular with the style of dress I wanted and they went out of their way to ensure this could be a possibility. Nothing was too much trouble and with their advice and guidance we made numerous changes to my dress, so much so that we joked it should be called 'The Charley'. I cannot recommend them highly enough for any bride to be and on behalf of my Mum and I, a heartfelt thank you for helping me find the dress of my dreams- I can't wait to wear it! |

I had a private appointment with Allison and couldn't have asked for better customer care. She was wonderful to deal with and so patient with me.
The dress I decided on is stunning and I was so pleased to have a further appointment with my mum so she could see it.
Dress now on order and I feel completely looked after and at ease.

| I couldn't be more happy with my experience at Ellie Sanderson and with the dress I finally bought this week. My first appointment was a late, private one with my mum and bridesmaids where we tried on a variety of different dresses, and it really was a lovely experience and a memory that I'll treasure. Beforehand, I was worried about being too big, too awkward and too unsure about what I wanted, but all of the lovely staff at both appointments were incredibly reassuring, helpful and diplomatic. Ultimately I felt completely confident in making my decision, supported in my budget and my preferences, and I've met several other brides this year who've all had the same great experience at the boutique. |

The service from start to finish on both my appointments was fantastic. I was treated as an individual and my thoughts and ideas were carefully listened to as well as them bringing some new ideas to the table.
I saw Allison and Andrea and both were extremely attentive to me and my family throughout. Nothing was too little and then went above and beyond to make sure my appointments were both extremely enjoyable and successful. What a shop and what service! It was such an amazing experience, every girls dream but they made it even better. All smiling, all dressed smartly, very polite. It's weird, I also felt like they were genuinely excited for me even though they had just met me. I would recommend them over and over again.
They listened to exactly what I THOUGHT I wanted and then showed me things I wouldn't have picked - I ended up going with the latter - they really know already what will suit you before you even choose but are also very particular to what you have asked. I also ended up ordering something bespoke with the help of Ellie so thank you so much. |

These positive and gushing reviews are all absolutely true and deserved. Couldn't fault anything about the experience from beginning to end. Was almost starting to wonder if the right dress was out there but with Ellie's help and a little customisation it is! | I was so fortunate to find Ellie Sandereson at the wedding show at Earls Court, London last week. The choice of dresses was great and the team there were lovely (I was lucky enough to have seen Eira and Ellie who were amazing) they stood out among all the wedding dress stands at the show. I was lucky enough to find the most amazing dress and I can't wait to go to see them again for a fitting and for accessories. I also saw the perfect bridesmaid dress with them as well, Can't recommend them highly enough a really professional operation they definitely stand out for all the right reasons even if you don't live near the boutique which i don't they are worth a very long drive! | I tried on a lot of dresses at many boutiques in both New York and the UK and I can honestly say that Ellie Sanderson has the warmest and most helpful staff and the best selection of dresses. Everytime I visited for fittings they were so friendly and accomodating. Andrea helped me find my perfect dress. I had tried a few dresses on and there were small things that just werent quite what I had pictured. Andrea immediately knew what I wanted and went to the stock room to find a brand new dress that had just come in from Suzanna Neville. It was perfect and I felt amazing in it on the big day and so comfortable. Their seamstress is so skilled and made the dress fit like a glove. If I had to do it all again I would have just gone straight to Ellie Sanderson and skipped the other shops! |

| Just got back from a 4 hour round trip to the Ellie Sanderson Boutique and it was worth the drive. Fabulous dresses and very nice staff who dress you for your size and shape rather than talking you into buying something just because they want to make a sale. I choose a gorgeous Suzanne Neville dress which was a slighty different style to what I had in mind but was even more gorgeous than I imagined. I'm getting married in 4 months so I've left it very late but I will still have my dress in time. I would highly recommend a visit as all of the dresses are fabulous and I could have bought them all. |

| From the moment I walked into Ellie Sanderson I was looked after so well by Katy and Andrea, I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. I have always swooned over the Jenny Packham dresses and was unsure as to whether they would suit my figure being size 16+, when I called beforehand to see if I would be able to try any on Andrea put me totally at ease and when I had my appointment they pinned and tacked me in to get the best idea of what the dress would look like on me. I surprised myself by crying constantly from the second I tried on my wedding dress. I was brought as many to try on as I needed to and had to most wonderful time adding fur stoles and tiara’s – it was nothing like some of the awkward and uncomfortable experiences I have accompanied other brides dress shopping to other shops. Being so fussy I thought I would have to visit months worth of shops and I am truly grateful to have gone to Elle Sanderson in Oxford on my first outing. The shop is beautiful and the dresses are immaculate – the changing rooms are huge and there is a little dressing up boudoir out the back if you feel uncomfortable showing off dresses on the shop floor. I am over the moon with my dress and cannot wait for the fittings! |

The shop is beautiful, spacious and light with plenty of room to swoosh around in the stunning gowns. I cannot praise Georgina enough. I had the most fantastic experience at Ellie Sanderson in Oxford recently and finally found "the One".
I'd been to quite a few dress shops before going to Ellie's and I was starting to fear that I wouldn't find anything I liked and was a very fussy bride. However on meeting Ellie and her team they couldn't do enough to help me find the perfect dress. They went above and beyond their duties to really help me and to make sure that I was happy with my final choice. I really can't recommend them highly enough and have not hesitated in directing my newly engaged friends towards them.
The whole experience was wonderful and I can't wait to get back there for the fittings.

After speaking to several shops with no luck of an appointment, a friend recommended Ellie. They were brilliant and squeezed me in on a very busy Saturday. Acacia was an Angel nothing was to much trouble, she very quickly picked up what i was looking for, after 2 visits and Acacia's incredible patients I found the dress of my Dreams. In-fact all girls were lovely and mad me feel very, very special.

Having been a bridesmaid recently and been to numerous bridal dress stores, it suddenly became my turn to be the bride trying on the dresses. Ellie Sanderson was the first store I went in to as I had my eye on a particular dress, which they had in stock. I was greeted with a very friendly and warm welcome and a glass of bubbly! Unfortunately, the dress of my dreams was not 'the one' but the staff could instantly tell the type of dress I wanted and were patient as I tried on numerous dresses in their collection. Having put on weight recently due to medication and feeling uncomfortable in myself, they took the time and effort to ensure that I found the dress that was right for me, down to the last detail by trying different combinations of accessories to ensure that I found my dream dress. I chose a Jenny Packham dress, for which they had a 10% off date in a few weeks, which I was unable to attend. They offered me the same discount whilst I was in the store and took my measurements so that my Mum could attend the 10% off day, should I need a little time to think. I have had e-mails from the staff since, all of which have been informal and very friendly.
I have been made to feel like I am the only bride that they are looking after, as their care has been so personal and friendly. I couldn't imagine buying my dress from anywhere else and they have certainly outdone every bridal store that I have been to before. Ellie Sanderson is a must for every blushing bride to be. You won't be disappointed with the care and attention that they take. |

I went into other bridal shops where they simply went through their catalogue and told me to pick things I liked for them to bring through, Ellie Sanderson actually talked through the style of my wedding and offered guidance and advice immediately. Even for the most enthusiastic bride, wedding dress shopping is very daunting and other shops where you're just left to find things you like (and virtually all wedding dresses look a little strange on hangers!), Ellie Sanderson set out to help find you something that made you feel great and suited your whole wedding, not just a dress that worked on you. Thoroughly recommended. I went back three times to try on the same dress and there was never any pressure, and they seemed genuinely pleased when I reached my decision. Looking forward to fittings! |

What a fantastic experience! I was really worried about finding a wedding dress to make me look as beautiful as everyone expects on your wedding day. I also had quite firm ideas in mind as I wanted to be able to eat and drink on my wedding day and therefore didn't want a corset. Acacia (who helped us during our fitting) was fantastic - she listened to everything I said and picked out exactly the kind of dresses I wanted. We finally found a dress we liked but wanted altered to fit me, and again everyone in the shop was hugely helpful - making suggestions about would or wouldn't be possible. They even contacted the people who do the alterations to ask them if they could change the buttons on a pair of shoes to make them fit me!
A really enjoyable experience and a fantastic service. I would highly recommend this shop. |

I was on such a time limit to get a dress for the big day and I could not have done it without them.
All of the girls are amazing and so good at their jobs. The dress that I wore on my wedding day was the first dress that they chose for me... they know what they are doing. I tried on several others, but they knew. They were all so friendly and made the experience so enjoyable and even in my VERY limited time frame I did not at any point get stressed. They all knew exactly what they were doing from the time my dress was chosen to the fitters doing the measurements and incredible work. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you girls! |

Julia was completely perfect she was fun and funny and had impeccable taste. My dress was the second one I tried on! They have an excellent selection of designer dresses and gorgeous accessories. It was a one stop shop for me- dress, jacket, shoes, veil- done! The dresses, veils and accessories are all stunningly and beautiful, and you will definitely be able to find the perfect dress for you. The real jewels in the crown of this amazing boutique though are Ellie and the girls! They are absolute stars, without whom, my bridal experience would not have been complete.
From finding the dress for me (who else could cope with a bride who thought she fancied dresses as different as a fish tail through to a full princess skirt?!), to selecting a veil, taking measurements and fittings... this team is simply THE BEST.
They even worry on your behalf (you will learn that this is worth its weight in gold!).

Amazing, just amazing!
I'd been to a few dress places before Ellie Sanderson. I came in with NO idea what I wanted, just a few ideas on what I didn't want. I relayed these to Nicola who immediately assured me that she had the dress for me. She was right!
I hadn't believed the talk of finding THE dress until I came here. Nicola, Ellie and the girls made the experience a real pleasure, I loved everything about the experience, including my beautiful dress. |

| I had previously been to a few other bridal shops and thought I would never find a dress, shop assistants were never very helpful and always felt rushed so I was not really looking forward to my appointment but Ellie saunderson is the perfect bridal shop, girls were so helpful and lovely, they spend time with you when you get there to find out all about the kind of dress you are looking for and give you lots of advice, they have lots of gorgeous choices for all tastes and cater for all budgets, over all a fab experience and found the perfect dress. |

| I had a lovely trip to Ellie Sanderson with my bridesmaids - we were all made to feel very welcome and were instantly impressed with the shop. Nicola was so helpful and managed to find me the perfect dress, one I would never have tried on if she hadn't suggested it. I can't wait to wear it next year! |

I just bought my Suzanne Neville dress from this shop and the service that I got was brilliant. I have been in three times and never once felt rushed into making my choice, Nicola actually said I needed to think it over but I knew it was my dress, I did go away and then come back with my friend then we came back a week later with my mum and bought my dress.
I am short with a big bust and Nicola was the only assistant that could help explain how I needed a made to measure dress to get the shape right.

| Wonderful Experience | |
| I visited the Ellie Sanderson Boutique in Oxford with my mum a few weeks ago and was blown away by the beautiful dresses and fabulous accessories the shop has to offer. There are many amazing dresses to suit different shapes, personalities and styles. The service we received was just wonderful, I couldn’t have asked for more. I didn't have much of an idea about what I was looking for so didn’t expect to buy a dress from the first shop we would visit, never mind the 2nd dress I tried on! However, thanks to Nicola I now have ‘the’ wedding dress of my dreams being made to fit me perfectly (made to measure service). Nicola is so nice and professional, I felt totally at ease with her and it is obvious she loves her job and is passionate about brides looking their best and choosing ‘the’ dress. My mum and I had such a wonderful experience with no stress at all, just a lovely, fun, girly time as special as it should be. Nicola makes you feel like a million dollars, I have 100% faith in her and my gorgeous Sassi Holford dress. |

| An amazing experience | |
I was reading through a Bridal Magazine when i saw my: "perfect dress".
I live in Gloucestershire and after some searching i found a delightful shop in Oxford that stocked it.
I emailed the shop and got a warm response from Nicola who was able to answer all of my questions and worries.
We (my Matron of Honour and I) arranged to visit Ellie Sanderson on 14th July 2010. It was the most amazing day out. The shop was beautiful. It was calm, tranquil and very welcoming.
The dresses were quite simply "out of this world."
There were so many to choose from.
Nicola made me feel completely at ease. I was nervous having never tried a wedding dress on before, but she made me feel special and i became absorbed in the whole atmosphere.
I did have my special dress in mind and when i tried it on it lived up to all of my expectations.
I knew it was, "The One"
I did try on other dresses and i had great fun doing it.
They were all unique and catered for all styles of Weddings. I felt elegant and glamourous in all of them but Melita by Alan Hannah won my heart.
Thank you Nicola, Ellie Sanderson and Alan Hannah for making all of this possible.
I know we will be in close contact over the next few months making arrangements, further viewings, fittings and i look forward to every minute of it.
I highly recomment Ellie Sanderson in Oxford for any Bride to be!

| To anyone reading this looking for somewhere to purchase their wedding dress PLEASE visit Ellie Sanderson in Oxford, you will not be disappointed. This bridal boutique is fabulous! Nicola is an absolute star - The service you receive is second to none and the dresses are simply stunning! The accessories are amazing, the boutique is in a wonderful location and I couldn't imagine having a better experience anywhere else. As soon as you walk through the doors you feel so special and I'm not particularly a fairytale wedding kind of girl but that is exactly how you feel, it's fantastic! I have visited Ellie Sanderson Oxford on 3 occasions now and have ordered my dress - I kind of wish I hadn't so that I had an excuse to keep going back!!! |

I recently bought my wedding dress from the new Ellie Sanderson Boutique in Oxford and I was extremely impressed with the service provided. I was seen by Nicola who was warm, helpful and lovely and made me feel happy and at ease throughout the whole process. The dresses in this shop are beautiful; there is an excellent choice of very good designers, as well as a great range of different styles to try. The shop has a lovely atmosphere. I only wish you were allowed to have more than one wedding - I would come back to this shop every time!

Ellie Sanderson has it all. Beautiful shop, excellent staff and amazing dresses. I cannot express the fantastic experience I have had whilst shopping for my wedding dress.
I was impressed with the service provided and how special the staff made me feel.
The dresses in this shop are wonderful and there is an extensive choice. I even got to meet Sassi Holfold.

I would thoroughly recommend the dress buying experience at Ellie Sanderson. Such a beautiful selection of dresses which Nicola and Jenna know exactly how to fit. When I had a panic about my order, they were so accommodating and made me feel completely at my ease.

| I had an absolutely amazing experience at Ellie Sanderson. I am from the US and was visiting my cousin who is living in Oxford. I just happened by the shop and saw this beautiful gown in the window. I was able to make an appointment to try dresses on. The dress I saw in the window was the one I eventually purchased. All of the staff at the shop were amazing. They were so helpful and patient with me. I was glad to be able to leave and come back with my cousin to get her opinion. I never expected to find a wedding gown while on my trip, but I am glad to have found it at Ellie Sanderson. I will always remember my experience! |

| It's difficult to find a bridal shop that makes you feel really special AND isn't pretentious. Ellie Sanderson Bridal made me feel unique from the moment I stepped through the door and all the girls were completely down to earth. They were flexible and open to options, letting me explore and helping me to throw around ideas. I was lucky enough to be in the boutique the same day that Sassi Holford was visiting and promoting her new range. Sassi, Ellie and the girls gave me plenty of attention and time, designing some bespoke features on my chosen dress. A truly unique bridal experience! Since buying my dress, the service continues to be excellent with regular communication and invitations to accessory parties! |

| I visited the shop a couple of weeks after it opened to look at some wedding shoes, they were so helpful and the shop is just gorgeous - they even stocked the dress I'd ordered so I got to have another sneaky peak. Was a shame I'd already bought my dress elsewhere! Exactly what you want from a bridal boutique, friendly staff and gorgeous gowns. |

| A lovely experience | |
I have found shopping at Ellie Sanderson a lovely experience. I had already bought my dress when they opened in Oxford but still needed some accessories and was delighted to see a bridal shop open in central Oxford.
I bought a beautiful pair of shoes and a lovely veil that I had seen in the window. I got very friendly personal service and some useful advice on what accessories would go with my dress, as well as a 10% discount as the shop was new.
The shop is beautiful and a pleasure to spend time in, and I would recommend it to all Oxford brides-to-be. |

I bought my dress from this shop early this year, I had tried on over 60 dresses and wanted to cry. I walked in and Ellie just listened whilst I explained the mess I felt in. She very decided that the best thing was to start again. I had explained all this on the phone and Ruth her Manager decided to book me in for two hours. Ellie put me in a big gown, a slinky gown, lace, netting skirts and so on. I tried straps, no straps and finally she pulled out a gown and said THIS you have to try because I think it will be wonderful. before she zipped it up I cried, I just knew, she was so right. From then on I trusted her and the all the girls that work there to choose my accessories, veil and shoes. I cannot say how great the girls here are and they all love what they do and make it fun. I couldnt be more pleased that I found them.
YOU MUST GO HERE, if you dont you will miss out.
Oh they also have monthly private parties which are just amazing - get an invite if you can .
