| Bad |   | | Again if I could rate the shop 0 I would, I popped into the shop on the off chance! I was told I could have a look at the dresses but if I wanted to try on I would need to make an appointment. I told the women I would just book an appointment and off I went excited about the visit ahead. On arrival I along with my bridesmaids were told to pick out some dresses I was not helped getting in and out of the dress and was made to feel fat and not worthy of these dresses. My bridesmaids then had there turn which they were questioned if they were planning on loosing weight as they were very hippy. I was then told I might want to rethink my colour scheme as @purple gas been done to death" all in all not a pleasant visit and defiantly wouldn't go back there. | | Anonymise - 01/10/2013 |  | | awful service | | | If I could rate this company as 0 I would. This was the first shop I went to to try on wedding dresses. (Appointment was made a week before) due to this I was not sure what sort of dress would actually suit my figure, the women who was dealing with us was rude to my mother because a dress hanger broke which was not my mothers fault. She then proceeded to talk and treat me as a nuisance. She did not help to put the dresses on which was extremely difficult with no help, in the end my family had to help me! When I did find a style that suited me but was no means the dress for me she quickly said I'd right the details of the dress down then you can go. Professionalism = 0. Pleasant = 0. dedicated to the bride to be = 0. glad to take your money = 10 out of 10. Selling your dress off after you have fully paid for it, stored it and no contact = BIG TIME RATING OF 0. When i went in the shop the lady there showed me the dresses then i selected some to try on. however despite making an appointment, i was completely left on my own to try and get into and out of the dresses as someone came inot the shop to look at one childs bridesmaids dress. 'sorry i have an appointment at the moment but please feel free to browse' was not uttered at this customer. my bridesmaid had to help me with one but i was so disgusted i left the shop. what a waste of time. i would expect this sort of treatment if i had just turned up but i had made the effort to make an appointment. | | alicia - 28/07/2010 | | | Lovely shop with great staff | | | I recently visited Simply Brides to try on some dresses. I booked the appointment beforehand by phone which was easy and the person on the phone was extremely pleasant and helpful. On arrival at the shop we were greeted and shown into their room where the dresses were kept. We were then left for approx 15 minutes to browse the dresses and choose which ones to try on. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and pleasant at all times. They provided advice on designers, style of dresses, prices and also provided accessories to wear with the dresses, shoes/veils/tiaras to try on etc. Overall an extremely good experience but would have liked to seen a bigger range of dresses, although they did stock a large range of Maggie Sottero gowns. | | E Roberts - 03/11/2008 |
