Not only did i get the dress of my dreams but they made the whole experience so wonderful I didn't want to leave. | Having been around many bridal shops , I was on a very tight budget & needed a dress for my wedding in 3 months . I went along to heart brides roadshow & was amazed at how many dresses they have . I tried 7 dresses on & brought the first one I tried on , which I loved . It was a wonderful experience , the heart brides ladies are so kind & friendly , I shall miss seeing them but look forward to wearing my dress in 2 weeks time . |

I visited Heart Brides and had a totally horrible experience.
The salesman who I think is the owner was very pushy and unprofessional. I was only allowed to try on 3 dresses and was rushed from start to finish. The quality of the dresses were awful and they were filthy. I don't recommend this company |

| I got my stunning dress from heart brides and they were a pleasure to deal with! One of the ladies actually picked the dress out for me after trying lots of others on. Communication was fab for fittings and needed cleaning quickly between getting back from Cyprus and Reception here. It was all fantastic and the day was perfect! Would definately recommend! | My daughter and I went to Hearts Brides in March 2013 looking at dresses for August 2013. What a fantastic service, Peter greeted us explaining how their service worked. He told us to choose as many dresses as we liked and one of his girls would help my daughter try it on. They were fantastic and actually helped pick the dress that was perfect. Although it needed a lot of alteration for size they promised it would be ready for August. After 6 fittings the dress was perfect, it fitted lovely and looked beautiful. I am so pleased we decided to go to St Ives to one of their shows. Everyone commented how gorgeous the dress was and I felt wonderful in it. Thank you all so much you helped make my the day perfect x |

I don't know where to start about Heart Brides because I have so many good things to say about this team of professionals! I went to Heart Brides in Ely 11 months before my wedding abroad! I knew exactly what I wanted & Zoie straight away picked out the perfect dress! However,I had only had my baby 4 weeks previous so although the dress was exactly what I wanted the zip didn't even go up a third of the way!! Peter in his oh so charming way assured me I could loose the weight or he could let it out!! I was on a mission to get into this size 8 dress even if it killed me! Thankfully the wonderful Zoie whom I now call a friend let me wait 3 weeks before the wedding to start my final fittings! With determination I got into the most beautiful dress ever & needed it taken in!! The team were so supportive & Peter & Lynn even did my very final fitting on a Sunday,2 days before I flew out!
It fit like a glove on the day & all my guests commented on how beautiful & unusual my dress was!
Heart Brides have so many amazing attributes but the ones that stand out are; quality of dresses,the price,professional staff & the personal assistance provided! The team make you feel like you are the only bride in the world!! They even provide an after care service to have your dress cleaned & boxed at a reasonable price! | An Amazing Experience | |
I arrived at a Heart Brides bridal show in Harlow two months before my wedding... What can I say. After the initial shock around the time scale, the whole team set to work to ensure my beautiful bridal gown was ready for collection ten days before the wedding. Having tried many dresses on with a variety of prices to suit every budget, there was no pressure to spend more than I had, the team were genuine and honest with their feedback if the dress was not rightfor me and I was able to try as many on as I liked. This was important for me to trust and draw on their longstanding experience.
Peter the designer and dress fitter was humourous but at the same time professional, he fitted my beautiful gown to my shape with great care and attention to detail. I requested a wrap be made the same colour as the dress, it was done with two colours and beading, it is truly beautiful, Peter then made me a tiara to match the whole outfit.
Strutting around the room with the whole outfit on last night was fantastic, I felt exactly what Heart Brides wanted me to feel, the most special person in the room 1:1 attention from one of the team and a genuine interest in me! On collection, the team explained how to care for my dress and I have the option to return it for a full specialist dry clean and placed in a box after the ceremony.
Finally, for those brides out there who may like me be on the "heavy side" please don't worry, the women who help with you are lovely, they don't notice, the treated me with respect ensuring my dignity at all times. I would recommend Heart Brides every time. |

Peter and Zoie were extremely helpful and honest. My dress was beautiful and a real show stopper as all my guests commented. They kept my dress for 2 years for me and even though I got pregnant and had my baby in that time it they still ensured it fitted like a glove.
Have recommended them to many of my friends.
In regards to a comment I've seen below maybe the bride was actually looking in the mirror at herself as Peter made me take dresses off that didn't suit me.

A down to earth, friendly team who are honest and open with their feedback, making sure you only chose the right dress for you!
The quality of the dresses was great, and the alterations done quickly and really professionally - i couldn't have been happier with the final results!
The choice of dresses is good, although they don't always have every style possible, but they do vary their stock regularly so you are bound to find something that you fall in love with.
Overall I would recommend Hearts Brides highly. As long as you're not longing for the champaign, one on one treatment you get in a boutique, but are happy with a friendly and reliable service with quality dresses, then I would suggest you go along and have a look!!
They also did a FAB job of altering my bridesmaids dresses which were bought elsewhere.

| I went to a Heart Bride evening with an open mind. As an older woman I was not sure if I would find anything suitable. On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly team who immediately gave me confidence, guidance and help to find the perfect dress. I selected a beautiful dress and coat with train combination which was far too big for me. I was assured that it could be altered to fit perfectly. After two fittings it did. I ended up with a beautiful exclusive bridal outfit which took everyones breath away. My sincere thanks to everyone at Heart Brides for such a great service. |

I first went to Heart Brides in 2005 with my best friend to look at dresses for her wedding abroad. As soon as we stepped in the door we felt comfortable and at ease with people who really knew what they were doing. That night we walked away with a chosen dress for the bride (just had to be altered and some extra sparkle added) plus an order for two bridesmaid dresses to be made.
A year or so later another of my friends got married and also got her stunning dress from Heart Brides.
It was therefore an easy decision in January 2010 to go back to Heart Brides for my very own wedding dress. I never ever thought i would walk out that same night having committed to the dress of my dreams. Basically, i tried on a couple of dresses, picked and pulled ideas from a few of them - style, design, colour, fabric etc and to my amazement the dress of my dreams was tailor made just how i ever imagined.
I also had my veil and tiara made to match my dress. It was all perfect.
The staff have years and years of experience - Zoie has a natural talent of knowing exactly what style of dress is ideal for you, Peter brings a funny charm to the table and an eye for design and the alteration ladies work to perfection.
Nothing is too much for Heart Brides, they will do whatever they possibly can to make this major part of your wedding as smooth as possible which includes bending over backwards to help in every way possible whether that be taking your dress to a different venue just so you can see it, going to their home for a final fitting / collection or having dresses boxed to take abroad etc.
Since my wedding, Heart Brides have made 100's of other dresses, my cousins included for her wedding day in December 2011 and her two bridesmaids!
I still keep in touch with Heart Brides and continue to recommend them. Just go, you will not be disappointed :-)

I went to one of heart brides wedding fayres at our local hotel and was not going to buy a dress at the time as my wedding was a yr away and was going just to look and when we got there they had alot of different styles and colours and sizes which was nice to see although i am only a size 8 i looked through nearly them all and they were all different designs none alike as they onoly make 1 design of each dress, i chose a few dresses i liked but the one my mum chose was not the style i was goin for but peter and Zoie who own the business convinced me along with my mum and friend who came with us to just try it on and out of the others i had tried on i fell in love with it immedietly it had just been made and was the first night out on the rail it was either the case of buy it then and there or regret not having it and somebody else would of had it im sure of tht as it was stunning,
it was alittle big but tht was not a problem as Peter altered it and you would never of known as when i went to my final fitting it was like a glove. i had my veil made in the same colour and had fancy bits added to it and it was everything i had dreamed of so i say to ppl go and see them as the service they provide is brilliant and they make u feel like u have known them years.

I don't quite know where to start... i went to the thorpewood show nearly two years before my wedding day. When i walked in, no dresses stood out to me. Peter came over and picked out some dresses and encouraged me to try them on. I wasn't impressed, and the dresses he picked out were totally not me. HOWEVER, once in the first one - i brought it there and then. Every dress Peter designs is unique, and his designs are individually and carefully done to flatter any size and shape. I wear size 20 clothes, and would not go to a wedding boutique (think pretty woman...) but when i walked into the show and met Zoie and Peter, my qualms all disappeared. They can make the most shy, self-conscious and embarrassed bride to be feel at ease and beautiful. The existing negative reviews on here are totally wrong and ignorant - peter tells you straight away if a dress doesn't suit you, as do the ladies who help you into the dresses, and of course, Zoie. They are the most friendly, approachable and respectable people i have ever brought anything from. They remember your name, preferences with regards to headresses and veils, and wedding date, every time you go. I brought 4 bridesmaid dresses from Heart Brides as well - the first of their kind to be sold - and they were my favourite part of our wedding! They were much better than anything i had ever imagined i would have for bridesmaid dresses. My dress was the most flattering thing i have ever worn, and received endless admiration from guests and anyone else who saw me in it! I truely cannot commend Peter, Zoie and their team enough for the work they do; without their service and personalities, i might never have found my dress, as i would never have tried on anything like it myself. A huge thank you to the whole team - especially the poor seamstress who had the task of removing every single bead around the bottom of my dress to raise it 2 inches, and then sew each individual bead back in place! Thank you guys, keep up the excellent work - you're all fantastic, and you totally made my wedding! I'll be back to see you all soon with photos!

| After a few visits to other bridal shops where my daughter was made to feel like a freak because she was bigger than the 'perfect size 10' a friend recommended a visit to Peter and Zoie. I am so glad that we took her advice. We were immediately reassured by the warm and friendly welcome. Their large selection of designer dresses are just gorgeous. Nothing is too much trouble for Peter or Zoie - or in fact, any of the staff. My daughter found the most beautiful dress at a very reasonable price. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend Heartbrides. Excellent service. |

| After being let down by the company where I had ordered my original wedding dress, 7 months after I had placed my order, I went along to a Heart Brides show and was amazed by the beautiful gowns they have available. My daughter and I went along to see Peter and Zoie on the recomendation of a friend, not knowing what to expect we were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent service and exceedingly good value for money, and beautiful designer dresses so that no other bride would ever have the same dress as you. Since then we have recommended 8 other brides who have been exceptionally pleased with the results. Now my other daughter is being looked after by Peter with another stunning gown and the same helpful service.

| I had tried a few local shops and found the sales staff rather rude. Somebody recommended I give heartbrides a try. I went along to the show and found the staff so helpful. I had decided I wanted a plain dress not very big but they encouraged me to try other. Once I was in some bigger fancier dresses I fell in love and finally one was chosen. It was nothing I had in mind. Since buying mine a few friends I have recommended heart to have broughtabd also my sister in law. Keep up the good work heart brides |

| Amazing Dresses and Fantastic Service | |
I recently got married and went to heartbrides for some ideas of what dress i would like. The choice of dresses there are absolutely amazing and the help they give you is fantastic.
After trying on dresses and getting disheartened Zoie, Peter and the team picked some dresses for me to try and they were gorgeous. I can honestly say they know their stuff as i got the dress of my dreams for the big day and it was nothing that i would have picked for myself.
They are always there for you whenever you have questions and will definitely put you at ease when its getting closer to the big day and the nerves are shot to pieces.
Everyone on the day was commenting on how nice all the dresses were and wanted to know where they could purchase them. I have since had other friends looking at wedding and bridesmaids dresses and they have all had fantastic service and are really pleased with the dresses.
One thing i would like to say to the Heartbrides team is Thank you because without your skills, experience and support i would not have got the dresses we all loved so much. |

| Caution | |
These people seem very nice, however, do they really make their dresses themselves, as they say they do? If you read their web site carefully, they call themselves dress retailers, there is no mention of actually making the dresses.
My guess is they import cheaply made dresses from China (see ebay!) and sell them on as their own. They do say they do alterations - but I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! |

| To die for dresses at reasonable prices | |
This is not your run of the mill bridal store, for a start they do not have a shop or stock designers. Instead they hire conference facilities in hotels across East Anglia in the evening (5pm – 8pm), design their own dresses and have them made by their own factory in near Ely.
Peter, the designer is fantastic but be ready to hear the truth, if you don’t look good in the dress he will tell you in very honest words and between him and Zoe they know what suits your shape. When I went in I’d got some ideas of what I wanted but they got me to try on 5 different dresses in different cuts and colours I’d expected to walk out in an ivory A-line but instead bought a dusky pinky coloured princess style dress! I guess the biggest plus of this is that if you like the skirt off one, the body of another and the sleeves from something else they can create it because they own the designs and the factory.
They have a small army of ladies who help with your fittings but Peter will do all the pinning and marking so that they can get the fit perfect for you.
They supplied my shoes, tiara, veil, dress and bridesmaid dress all were beautiful and I felt truly looked after. I took my dress back to them to get it dry cleaned and spent an hour with them going through a blow by blow of my day with photos.
I found their whole approach very refreshing and incredibly relaxing and fun.
