| The most amazing bridal shop! |  |
| Absolutely amazing bridal shop. I tried many stores and this was the only one that didn't suck up to me by trying to make me buy any wedding dress and didn't just stick me on a podium as I'm really short. Jane (who is phenomenal) told me what dress would suit me as I felt very lost and also told me about the rules of thirds! She also was a star helping me stretch my shoes and when I had a wobble (wedding pressures). I haven't met anyone yet who has had a similar wedding dress experience. Will miss the ladies in there. | Visited only this shop, second dress my daughter tried on was perfect, Jane the owner attentive, knowledgable , full of ideas. The dress was totally different to what we thought would suit her! But she looked like a princess - it was perfect and she looked stunning for her day. Jane and her 'ladies' adapted my outfit too and I was delighted with it - even my hat came under her scrutiny! We now have our other daughter planning her wedding and we will be visiting Migonette again. Came highly recommended through two separate brides and we recommended on too successfully to other brides. |

| Very disappointed |  |
Went for my sisters first ever wedding dress try on and was so underwhelmed and disappointed in the shop and service.
To start with we had to share the small room with another bride who had 6 people with her taking up half the room and sitting in front of the rails making it hard for us to view dresses. To be honest it's too small to have 2 brides trying on at the same time.
My sister was made to feel unimportant and left for around 15 minutes before even being asked about her wedding and what she was looking for in a dress.
Despite telling the assistant what she liked she was then put in dresses that in no way matched the description she had given. And was told what she had described was more for a 5"9 slimmer figure. My sister is a size 12 with a gorgeous curvy body and in no way big built! Very rude indeed!
Also the other assistant had around 10 dresses in the cubical for the other bride and despite her already trying them on and some of them suiting my sisters requirement her assistant was quite rude and did not want them to be given for my sister to try on. Our poor assistant did ask and was told "well no you can't have then really!"
Also as the other bride was trying on half the shop and her assistant was pushing for a sale. As she had so many dresses some of them started to get pushed onto my sisters rails and made it uncomfortable and squashed in her changing room. I also picked out a dress for my sister to try on which the other assistant then just came and took without asking resulting in us not being able to try it.
Despite getting married myself last year and visiting some beautiful shops my sister wanted to visit somewhere different and was really excited beforehand. This is certainly not somewhere we would revisit again and we left our appointment early and disappointed.
The assistant we had did try hard but there was NO communication between the staff and the other assistant was quite rude hogging all the dresses for her own bride.
Brides deserve to feel special and this was certainly not the case. Sorry to say I will never be recommending this shop to anyone. My sisters first dress try on was ruined and made her feel big and disheartened.
For a bride who wants to be made to feel special (as you should) look elsewhere!

| Fantastic | |
I have been to 5 bridal shops now looking for my dream wedding dress, and Mignonette by far was the best. The lady who helped me, was fantastic she really knew her stuff!!
When I first arrived, she took one look at me, and knew my bra size. Amazing. They provided me with underwear/shoes etc I could not fault anything about them. I will defiantly be buying my dress from there. No one compares to this fantastic shop. |

| A fabulous shop that sells not just wedding and bridesmaids dresses but all the accompaniments you will need for your dress. Fabulous staff, extremely helpful and best of all they stocked dresses not just in a miniature size 6 but up into double figures as well so not only can bigger ladies try them on but they can get them done up too!! The manageress was a blast, certainly knew her stuff as did all the staff. Was the best shop i visited and would definitely recommend them. Bought all my wedding gear there!! |
