| Special day in beautiful location |   | Okay our wedding day was perfect and the Westwood was a great venue.
The staff sometimes seemed slow especially once we had put down the deposit. there was many times we struggled to get hold of someone on the phone and emails took days to get an answer. They seemed to take on Merilyn a few onths after we booked and she was lovely and helpful and seemed like nothing was too much trouble.
The organising upto the day was great and they agreed to some lovely little details.
On the day everything sort of run smoothly, a few things could have been done better like we couldn't find Merilyn at one point and the food was slow making us run later but nothing too drastic or ruin anything.
Food was lush although didn't get lemon meringue pie I requested but another lemon pudding which was lovely.
Evening rolls were a disgrace and sadly I didn't realise till they'd nearly all gone but in huge baps was 1rasher of bacon or 1 sausgae leaving lots of empty roll!! we paid £7.50pp for this and it was embarassing and talk of the wedding after seems everyone just took out of another roll and there was a big pile of empty rolls left over. We got an apology but obviously guess nothing they can do after.
The location of this hotel and the grounds are beautiful and all in all it was perfect and worth the money
Rooms and drinks abit pricy for guests but always are in these type of Hotels

I stayed the previous night and got ready there in the morning, had the ceremony, meal, disco and loved everything about the day. I was worried about the wedding pictures as it was raining but there was plenty of lovely places to have them and they are all great.Also worried about dietary needs of some of the guests but this was proved unfounded as the food was exceptional and still spoken about a year later.
