A Real Find
Almonry Barn is a complete hidden gem and we're so pleased we found it for our wedding. The location is really picturesque and the actual building is so original and interesting compared to some of the other barns we viewed. Having the hayloft to get married in is a real treat as it meant we didn't have to travel from one location to another. Again it was lovely to have this as as a separate room to the main dining area and it felt just as special as the main room but in a more calming, serene way. Louise, Eloise and all the catering staff were faultless and were so helpful from day one. We really can't thank everyone enough for making our day go so well x

Beautiful & Well Worth A Visit
My fiancé and I went to view the barn a few weeks ago, and I have to say, even on a horrible, rainy, windy day we just fell in love with it. Almonry Barn is the fifth barn we've seen and by the far the best with all it's quirky and pretty touches. Angela (one of the owners) was so welcoming and friendly. If we decide to go ahead with a wedding in the UK it will 100% be this barn.

Stunning & Magical Barn
We were married here in October, and we had the BEST day ever! Such a gorgeous venue with loads of character and originality. The barn is in a beautiful setting and all our guests commented on what a fabulous find! We couldn't find a single fault and would highly recommend Almonry Barn to anyone. Thank you

Pretty But Cold
A beautiful barn, made all the nicer by being able to get married on the premises. However, the professionalism of the catering staff wasn't up-to-scratch: many didn't know what they were serving; bar staff refused the mother-of-the-bride a glass of prosecco and then didn't know what a g&t was; a guest was refused any food to give to her baby (not even a slice of bread!). Perhaps most concerning was a number of the tables were cold during dinner due to the doors being very draughty and one door unable to close; many guests resorted to wearing their partners' coats over their legs and then leaving shortly after the meal.

When I (and our parents) complained to the owner of the barn about the above issues, I was met with a response telling me that it was my fault guests were cold because I'd chosen where they would sit (not that we had a choice of course), not to mention that it was a "barn". Of course, she's absolutely right, it is a barn and any couples out there planning your wedding here make sure you warn your guests to bring warm clothes! If anything isn't perfect, don't expect an apology from the owner.
