| Nice location but.... |   | How disappointing it was.
Everything looks so beautiful on their website and our first meeting was fantastic so we decided to go with this venue for our big day.
The wedding coordinator was helpful and friendly but we have so many negative comments for the actual day.
Food not value for money, service slow and a huge majority of the staff seemed miserable and didn't want to be there.
Our guests were disappointed that they couldn't check in before 3pm even though they wanted to get ready, they said the rooms were quite dirty with cobwebs and the towels being tatty.
Overall we didn't feel we got the service we deserved for the money we were spending and like I said beautiful venue but not good value for money.

It may be beautiful, but if you want a stress free day and value for money, there are many more choices available at other venues.
The price - poor value for money. Don't rely on the staff to do what you request - they don't. We did everything ourselves. When we asked for post wedding for feedback to comments raised, we were treated to an unhelpful reply, and they demanded that we pay immediately!! The accommodation was overpriced. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had - bread in a Tupperware dish, and almost off fruit. Stay in Tetbury, as there are lots of lovely places to suit all budgets.
