Go Las Vegas / Go Vegas Weddings | | We booked our wedding 7 months ago and after the early good customer service and phone calls as soon as we paid the £1000 deposit we had to call continuously and e-mail 4 or 5 times before getting a response and then when we did you were fobbed off.
This added some huge stress for myself and my fiance at a time we expected you to be reducing the stress. I had requested the owner of the company call me on five separate occasions as I was hugely dissatisfied with the service I was receiving and told he will call the next day but this never happened.
The list of issues before we went was huge and I was dealt with by 6 different people who told me different things every time and that they would sort out all the problems. Our names where incorrect on the flights for nearly four months also our internal flight was promised we could have any one of hundreds of flights the day after our wedding and we ended up being stuck with a flight at 6:37am (the morning after we were married) and also then having to pay for our luggage and to top it off not sitting next to each other.
Whilst in Las Vegas I called and e-mailed about 7 times to get contact details for the photo limo tour and even got the Vdara concierge to try and get a response from all the go las vegas numbers and no one had the courtesy to call or e-mail me or them back, we had no photographer for the photo limo tour which we paid £395 for, so on our wedding day the stress and upset this caused along with many other things was a disgrace.
We were informed by the Venetion that there is no charge for the room we had and go las vegas ripped us off with a £300 charge.
We had been booked a twin room at the vdara and also for our honeymoon, this is laughable as we were there to get married and then on our honeymoon so again we had to pay to change this at both hotels.
I have complained several times since being back and getting the same fob off treatment and now find out that they have been booted out of Atol etc and under investigation.
If this had just been a holiday it would of been bad enough but as it was for our wedding this made things even worse.
My fiance was in tears on the day and leading up to the wedding and this caused huge stress for us over 5 to 6 months prior and then whilst away and this is now memorable for the wrong reasons and all down to this company and the shocking service and countless errors.
This company is under investigation as they are constantly getting negative press. From what I can tell its all run by guys called Paul Anderson and James Love, James Love used to run Jimmy Vegas another vegas based company that went bust.
I recommend anyone to stay away from these cowboys and also watch out they have new websites popping up www.govegasweddings.co.uk | Rob M - 14/10/2014 |
