We saw Jewellery For Life at a wedding fair at Danesfield House. They offer an "at home" service - just like Smooch. Hubby was impressed. I was impressed with the complimentary engagement ring clean on the spot.
After a dire experience with Smooch we called Paul and his wife at JFL - nice family run business - and they came over with a huge selection of rings, metals and styles.
We showed him the Smooch quotes and he was amazed how overpriced the diamonds were that would be inset into my design.
Paul and I designed my ring to my band width choice (unlike Smooch who could/would not make a smaller one for me - I have small fingers) and as JFL were cheaper I ended up with more diamonds of better quality. Hubby got his platinum band he wanted. We also got the rings hallmarked, engraved inside and size checked during the process.
A lovely, Personal and pain free experience to get custom made rings without breaking the bank.
